As a Crystal Lake wedding photo booth owner (and second shooter photographer), I have seen over 25 receptions unfold in just the 2025 wedding season. I can tell you this with confidence: the photo booth becomes one of the most loved parts of the entire day.

   As much as I miss running to Walmart to develop my underexposed film (yeah, right) we love tangible memories. You can get printed 2x6" photos on a customized template. as well as a text of them, too. They print out in groups of 2 so you can keep one on the fridge and one at the office. I would keep one at work to remind me of my family, helping me stay calm and avoiding jailtime around annoying coworkers.

3. It keeps the energy high during dinner and downtime

   I have seen dinners take a while. People start to get bored, and the bar is often closed during dinner. Bridesmaid breakdowns can put a little halt in the evening. Guests are there to celebrate and have fun. Fill in the gaps with some entertainment.

   The photo booth captures personalities- not poses. There's always a surprise when the bride gets her photo gallery. She looks at the pictures and says, yes- of course the groomsmen would use the prop in that way!    I love when the live band continues to sing while stopping in for a photo with guests. The bartenders, venue owners, planners and DJ all stop by and get a picture.
